Welcome to HSO
Welcome to HSO, Hunting Simulation Organization, the governing body for motion target shooting events on the local, regional and national levels. We are the best tournament circuit to be introduced to the world of shooting sports in decades. Through our membership, we offer the chance to participate in a serious, family-friendly, fast paced sport for men, women, youth, and hunters.
The Motion Target System
HSO proudly uses the Motion Target 3-D System. Generally, there are 7 pop-ups and 1 runner. Archers will shoot at 5 randomly selected targets in each round. In some cases, an 11 piece pop-up system is used with 1 runner. The entire system is computerized and is useable both indoors and outdoors. With bears, coyotes, wild turkeys, and Elk to shoot at, (among many) this system is designed to simulate the thrill of the hunt!

Tournaments
Our Tournaments operate under a 2-class system: Money and Trophy. Although there is only one division at the qualifiers for the Money Class, there are 4 divisions for the Trophy Class: Open, Women, Traditional, and Youth. A qualifying score consists of 2 rounds of shooting with 5 arrows per round. The top 4 places in the Money Class of each division will be invited to compete in the World Tournament.
